An ode to fashion

Playfulness and attention to detail can be found throughout SO/ Sofitel Hua Hin, thanks to the hotel’s collaboration with Thai fashion designer “Moo” Polpat Asavaprapha. His sophisticated and creative energy is on display in SO/ Sofitel Hua Hin’s distinct emblem and the staff uniforms.

Polpat Asavaprapha

Polpat Asavaprapha is the founder and creative director of ASAVA. He has worked with a wealth of fashion names including Marc Jacobs, Isaac Mizrahi and Max Mara, and now serves as the President of the Bangkok Fashion Society. Asavaprapha’s experience and impeccable eye for design is evident in his interpretation of SO/ Sofitel Hua Hin’s signature emblem, staff uniforms and artwork that can be found throughout the resort.

A renowned and award-winning Thai architect, Duangrit Bunnag brings flair and opulence to SO/ Sofitel Hua Hin’s original structure, complete with an interwoven maze of open courtyards and private pathways to encourage exploration of the hotel’s surrounding scenery.

Donatien Carratier brings over 20 years of design experience in Asia to his iconic styling of SO/ Sofitel Hua Hin. Drawing inspiration from the Grand Galerie de l’Evolution natural history museum in Paris, Carratier’s ‘Evolution of Life’ concept comes to life in a collection of animal statues that greet guests on arrival and proceed to surprise and delight visitors throughout the resort.
